Daylight is founded
Our founder, Patrick Jacquelin creates Daylight based on the principal of replicating natural sunlight through a blue-tinted bulb
1995
Expansion into Europe
Growing our customer base and Identifying our key accounts, some of whom are still with us even today
1996
Opening of London Headquarters
Refurbishing and opening our West London office where Daylight is still based to this day
1998
In-house design team formed
Ergonomics and minimal design are at the very core of our ethos, which is why we establish a dedicated team
2001
Shenzhen Product Office is officially setup
A collaboration begins between our London design team and China engineering team to create world renowned products
2002
Sales Office in USA is opened
As Daylight rapidly grows global, we prepare to meet increasing customer demands across the pond
2003
The official Daylight website is launched
Expanding our journey into e-commerce in the early days of the internet
2004
Opening of the Australian Sales Office
The furthest outpost of the Daylight Company office yet, with much more to come
2010
First products using LED technology
We begin to trial and experiment with a new, more energy efficient technology called LED
2014
All Daylight products become LED
We fully commit to a rapidly evolving technology that lasts up to 50,000 hours

Expansion into Asian markets
Our very first sales in Japan, shortly followed by China in the coming years
